Racing, BC Talent Coach and FREE British Cycling Membership!

Last weekend we welcomed  75 riders to our first coaching session of the year. It was bitterly cold but we had lots of smiling faces (and cold fingers!). I am working on the weather for 10th March. Thank you to all the riders who supported our first session, it was great to see you again after the winter.

The racing league is ready to go. See the blog post below for details and to download a poster for your workplace, school or kitchen…

Click here for our detailed FAQ covering just about everything to do with our racing league: what it is, how many races, do you need a licence, what happens on the day, what to wear etc etc>>>NCA Racing Guide and FAQ

You will need British Cycling membership to race. If you are a member of a club (like the NCA, VC Norwich, GYCC etc) and have never been members of BC before then you qualify for FREE membership and provisional racing licence – which is all you need for NCA races. You can complete the forms online using the promotional code “NEWCMRA” here: www.britishcycling.org.uk/membership

You can buy a day membership for £5.00 (adults and Juniors) or £1.50 u16s – so get your FREE membership sorted now.

rob sharman workshop

Don’t forget we have Rob Sharman, a British Cycling Talent Coach, visiting us Thursday night at 6.30pm at the Eaton Primary School for his “Be the Best you can be” workshop. Rob was uk Professional Premier Calandar champion only a few years ago so he knows what he is talking about. All ages welcome, it is focussed on younger riders but Rob assures us that rider, coaches and parents of all ages will gain from the workshop. These workshops are only available to Go-Ride club members – so you will need to be at least a second-claim member of a Go-Ride (like ours) to attend. Give Neil a ring if in doubt 07850 999 594  or  info@activatingcic.co.uk
